SUB : Assistance to Children’s libraries of children’s section of general public library. Sir, I submit herewith an application ( in duplicate ) for a grant, under the scheme "Assistance to Children’s Libraries or Children’s Section of general Public Library". I certify that I have read the rules and regulations of the scheme and I undertake to abide by them. On behalf of the management , I further agree to the following conditions. a. All assets acquired wholly or substantially out of the grant shall not be encumbered or disposed of or utilized for purposes other than those for which grant is given. Should the organisation cease to exist at any time, such properties revert to the Foundation. b. The accounts of the scheme shall be properly separately maintained. They will always be opened to check by a officer deputed by the Foundation or the State/U.T. Government. They shall also be opened to test-check by the Controller and Auditor General of India at his discretion. c. If the Foundation of the State/U.T. Government has reasons to believe that the grant is not being utilized for approved proposes, the Foundation may stop payment of further installment and recover earlier amount in such manner as they may decide. d. The organisation shall exercise reasonable economy in its working. In case there is any increase in the cost of construction the grant of the foundation will not be enhanced and the extra expenditure will have to be borne by the organisation. e. The organisation undertakes to meet the balance of the estimated expenditure on the scheme.

If the library is managed by the local body, the name and the address of the head of the department viz. Chairman, Vice Chairman, Administration, Executive Officer and Anchal Pradhan (Mukhia). c.If Central Govt. sponsored library, give the name and address of the head of the department. In
case of category (a) a copy of the audited receipts and payments accounts (latest
available) or a statement of receipts and payments accounts duly signed by the convener of
the previous year is to be enclosed and in case of category (b) and (c) a
statement of audited receipts and payments accounts is to be enclosed.

4. Particulars of grant applied for with estimates– a. Children’s books, Maps and Charts, Globes, Educational toys, Display boards.
b. Black & White TV, Tape recorder, Educational audio cassettes & video cassettes Quotation to be attached) c. Racks and almirahs, reading tables and chairs for children. (Description, Specification, Quantity, Price to be furnished.)
5. Particulars of the staff with designation.
